Top 10 family friendly firework and bonfire night events in and around Sheffield

After Dark at Don Valley Stadium, S9 2D, Friday 3rd November 2017 – Book here.

The biggest bonfire night show in Yorkshire, opens at 5:30pm at Don Valley stadium with Hallam FM. Bonfire lit at 7:30pm. There is music, live entertainment, huge funfair, fireworks with music, food stalls and more. Prices start from £10 & £1 booking fee if booking in advance, under 3’s free and over 14’s £5.

Chesterfield Fireworks Extravaganza at Stand Road Recreation Ground, S41 8SW, Friday 3rd November, £2 entry on the night

At Whittington Moor in Chesterfield this family friendly event starts at 4pm. There will be stalls, funfair, live entertainment on stage and fireworks at 7pm. Correct money only as they do not give change.

Meadowhead Gigantic Bonfire and fireworks, S8 7NT, Friday 3rd November 2017, Free

Gates open at 6pm for this FREE bonfire night event at Sheffield Transport Sports Club in Greenhill. There’s a funfair, food and drink, entertainment, kids stalls, huge bonfire and a lot of fireworks! Check the Facebook event here.

Community bonfire and fireworks at Manor Fields Park, S2 1GF, Saturday 4th November, Free

5pm start with fireworks at 7pm at Manor Fields Park. This is a community, local and free event with donations collected for next years events. Early start and family friendly. There will be food and drink stalls, bonfire lit and music.

Bonfire and firework display at Grenoside Scouts and Guides club, Saturday 4 November, £4 adult

Last year, this event was £4 adult with children under 5’s free. There is a licensed bar, hot food and bonfire lit.

Oughtibridge Music and Firework show, Saturday 4th November, Book here 

This years theme is music through the decades. Gates open at 5pm and there is lots of entertainment for all ages. They’ll be live music, licensed bar, funfair, kids rides and a musical firework show. Prices start from £7 adult and fireworks at 8pm.

Owlerton Fireworks Spectacular at Owleton Stadium Sheffield, S6 2DE, Sunday 5th November  – Book here

Prices start from £3 adult and include a race card, children under 16 £1. Huge fireworks display, kids entertainment, racing and music.

Bonfire and Fireworks at Handsworth The Old Rectory, S13 9BZ, Saturday 4th November – Book here

This annual bonfire event starts at 5pm, welcomes children and has a bouncy castle, rides, food and licensed bar. Always a popular one with families in Sheffield with fireworks at 6:45pm. Tickets start from £4.50.

Bonfire and fireworks at Chatsworth House, Saturday 4th November and Sunday 5th November – Book here

Enjoy live music, circus, entertainment, fireworks and a traditional bonfire at Chatsworth House. There will be face painting for kids, food and drink stalls and mulled wine! Prices start from £15 adult and £10 for a child. The bonfire is lit at 7pm with children’s firework show at 7:30pm.

Bonfire Spectacular at Cannon Hall Farm, S75 4AT, Sunday 5th November – Book here

All day even with farm, indoor and outdoor play, tractor rides, entertainment, live DJ and bonfire night festivities. A bonfire is lit at 5pm with fireworks at 6:30pm. Tickets are £9.95 with under 2’s free and this event is booking only with no admission on the day without a ticket. Make sure to book early as it sells out fast.
