2018 Sheffield Steam and Vintage Show has large road going steam engines, miniatures, vintage vehicles, vintage funfair, stalls, dog show & more!
Oughtibridge village gala on Saturday and a parade from 1pm at Coronation Park. Medieval Mayhem will be there giving out discounted vouchers.
Watch a live battle at Bishops House all weekend from 11am… “The year is 1484 and the household troops from the War of the Roses visit Bishops’ House.” Childrens crafts and object handling, £3 per adult and kids free.
Chesterfield Canal Festival on Saturday & Sunday, they’ll be trip boats, rides, street theatre, canoeing and much much more. £5 and free for under 12s.
The Salvation Army will be hosting a Community Festival in The Peace Gardens on Saturday 12-3pm and there’s crafts, face painting and and music.
Free activities day at Sports Sheffield, S10 on Sunday, 10am-3pm, lots to do; bouncy castle, trampolining, swimming sessions, bouldering, open gym facilities, tai chi, refreshments, competitions, giveaways and much much more.
Summer Fair at Sheffield Buddhist Centre on Sunday, 11-4pm with plants to buy, books, bric-a-brac, silly games, kids activities, clothes.
Loads of fun FREE activities on in Bradford City Park for Bradford Literature Festival all weekend. Meet the Gruffalo at The Broadway, watch films, crafts, workshops, book singings and tons more to do. Plus there’s fountains are the city park.
It’s Crosspool Festival street market 12-4pm on Sunday.

Water parks and splash play
Rivelin Valley Park, Sheffield S6 5GL will have the free splash park open weekends term time, includes a great paddling pool!
Langold Country Park, S81 9QW is open every day with a free splash park and good playgrounds.
Clifton Park & Museum in Barnsley has a fantastic free water splash area, great playgrounds and funfair. Water splash on daily during Rotherham half term holidays.
Millhouses Park, S7 2QQ has a free small water play area perfect for toddlers and is open every day, plus cafe, boating lake and playgrounds.
Aqua-Tek at Magna adventure Science Park in Rotherham has a splash park Aqua-Tek and large playgrounds with sandpits. Annual passes available.
Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife & Falconry centre has a good water splash area with lots of sand, toys, diggers and adventure playground.
Peace Gardens in Sheffield City Centre is a great place to splash around in the fountains.
Bakewell Park is a good day out in the lovely historical village and in the playground has a free water play area.
