National Railway Museum, Yorkshire review

York railway museum is always a winner, it’s FREE, fantastic indoors & has a play area, outside play area, miniature train and variety of places to eat. Plus a little land train to York Minster.

Have you been to see the boats at Victoria Quays yet? Eric loves boats and I keep meaning to take him back. Plus it’s not far at all from Emmaus, a fantastic second hand superstore. Also close to city centre, megakidz play zone and curious kids town.

The Deep is always a popular day out on a rainy day, but can get busy. Check out these 12+ interactive toddler friendly museums for an alternative.

3 Active/Different ideas: Trampolining, Bowling or Adventure Golf.

Try a different part of the city. A local park can totally be a day out if you’ve never been to it before, even more so if you usually drive why not try the tram or a bus for an adventure?
