Top 5 ideas
For the lovely autumn weather, I recommend the wonderful walk from Forge Dam down to Endcliffe Park. It’s a fantastic walk and the woodlands are soooo nice. Good atmosphere in the cafe (and lovely food) plus go up to see the ducks and enjoy the playground.
Aston Springs Farm, Rotherham – enjoy a woodland trail seeing the animals, picnic areas, wildlife pond and places to eat, drink and shop down at the main centre. There’s a pizza restaurant with indoor play, farm shop and even a paint a pot studio.
Does your little one love vehicles and especially emergency vehicles?! If so, they’re love the National Emergency Services Museum!
And one extra for not Sheffield if you can travel… I really recommend Web Adventure Park in York. There’s indoor and outdoor play, a farm and looooads of sand pit and water play. So much to do at a really reasonable price.
