Spoilt for choice what to do this Easter? There’s so many fantastic events on, trails, egg hunts and shows it’s hard to know where to start. If you’ve already browsed our ultimate eggcellent easter what’s on guide, you’ll know how lucky we are this year to have so many brilliant events. To help you I’ve narrowed it down and chose 5 fantastic events for Top 5 Sheffield Easter Events for Kids 2018.

Top 5 Sheffield Easter Events for Kids 2018
The popular Huge Easter egg hunt at Graves Park runs from 30th March-2nd April with OVER 18000 eggs to find! £2.50 per child. In each Hunt their is also 10 coloured eggs to find if you do find a coloured egg please take it to the shop to “eggchange” it for real egg! Starts 11:30am.
Daily 24th March – 15th April, Mad About Madagascar at Tropical Butterfly House, Sheffield. Meet amazing Madagascan species up close, plus your child can take part in the Easter Egg Trail on Easter Sunday and Monday… follow the trail and hunt for clues to win an Easter Egg! With daily animal encounters including meet the Easter bunnies or chicks, free tractor trailer rides, and Easter and Madagascar-themed crafts and activities, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
Get outdoors and enjoy the Cadbury Egg Hunt at Longshaw Estate, Friday 30th March – 2nd April, £3. Bunny’s been up to his usual tricks! He’s hidden clues about spring wildlife around the woods and countryside at Longshaw for you to solve. When you’ve completed his challenge, be rewarded with a Cadbury chocolate treat. Don’t forget to do the Bogart trail and the Spring Discovery Trail!
Sunday 1st at Sheffield Manor Lodge: Easter egg Hunt, £5 per child, 11am-4pm. No need to book. Search for lost eggs scattered throughout the Tudor grounds, solve the riddles and claim a chocolate egg prize. Included in the entry is an Easter Egg Hunt, Easter themed craft, Meet the animals and unlimited bouncy castle turns, plus donkey rides and more.
Numerous sessions available AM or PM slots from 3rd April – 11th April at Ecclesall Woods with Wild Sheffield. Join in for some Easter fun with your little explorers at the Woodland Discovery Centre in Ecclesall Woods as we search for signs of spring! Wild Play sessions are hosted by the Trust’s outdoor learning team and are designed for families with young children who want to get out and explore the woods. £3 per member/ £5 non members. Under 2’s free with a paying sibling. No charge for adults.
