If you’re in Sheffield City Centre with kids needing some space to play and let off steam, there are lots of free options. There’s Peace Gardens, Sheffield winter garden and Millennium galleries

But did you know there’s a nice play park not too far away?

Just off West street and Division street, behind West One Plaza, next to Springfield primary school is this play park. It’s bright, clean, fun and only 2 minutes around the corner from Devonshire Green.

We went on a Monday afternoon around 2pm and were the only ones there; I suspect it can get busy after school though.

Devonshire Green has space for  little legs have a run around, play ball and chase pigeons. It is next to the Forum kitchen and bar (which is kid friendly and has outdoor seating) with some fun walls to walk along.

The skate park is fun when no one is around!

It’s the little things, right?! What hidden gems does your city centre have?
