Weekend 3/4/5 – Things to do for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Many of them apply all year round! Including playgroups and classes.
Annual passes – Great ways to save money, pay once and return for 12 months with these. It’s a good way to have a back up for a day out and they make good gifts, too.
Our day at Tropical world, Leeds. Video and photos of our (sort of) disappointing day at tropical world due to areas being closed for refurbishment. We still enjoyed it though and there are some nice photos.
Meal out at Revolucion De Cuba. Videos and photos.
During half term we took advantage of the kids eat free deal. It was also one of our first times eating out as vegan for for all. Lovely food and family friendly.
Recap of our first family holiday at Haven, Blue dolphin with photos. This holiday cost us under £100 for 7 nights, we thought it was very good value for money! Includes seaside day trips too.
Weeekend picks for 24/25/26 February – including Steam trains, playgrounds and walks. Ideas that can be for any weekend with inspiration where to go.
A lovely historical day out at Castleton, Derbyshire including a visit to a castle! Videos and photos. Fantastic picnic spot and views!
National emergency services museum in Sheffield blew all my expectations, ended up getting an annual pass on the day. Loads of hands on things to do for toddlers, very interesting and has ambulances and fire engines to ride.
We visited Hepworth Wakefield for my mums birthday. It was a lovely day out enjoying the art gallery, Eric loved the playground and toddler art activities. It was a completely free day out too!
Weekend top picks 17/18/19 – Featuring museums, workshops and farms! Good for ideas any weekend.
Free book trail at Anglers Country Park! We did the room on the brook trail at the park. Great playground too! Includes videos and photos.
Kiddy Winx play cafe in Rotherham has some lovely equipment that really encourages a child’s imagination, shops, play kitchen and garage for example. Lovely staff and clean, caters for dietary requirements too. Here’s some photos and video!
We are big fans of Leeds city museum, a lovely free day out perfect for families. This time we went to the new exhibition “For all seasons” which was beautifully presented and educational for littles. Includes a video tour and photos, too.
I’m passionate about outdoors play. It’s all about parks, walks, nature and exploring outside! Here’s some ideas of how to make the most of playing outside, from baby to toddler.
A list of places Kids eat free in Sheffield and Yorkshire but some chains that apply regionally, too.
Videos and photos from A day at Heeley city farm; a local community farm we love to go with Eric. Free, animals to feed, lovely cafe with home cooked food and playground!
Phew! What a month! What did you get up to last month? I’m so happy it’s March, I’m so ready for spring and summer! We go on holiday this month too so I’m really excited about that.
