I’m going away this weekend, tomorrow we go to Haven in Filey for the week! There’s so much happening this weekend locally that I must admit, I got a little disappointed when writing this of all the awesome things going on! I chose the best ones for this weekend down below.

Woodland toddler group at Ecclesall woods, 9:45, £2, meet at discovery centre. Facebook group here.

The SIOE brings science from the bridge, 12-1pm, at Sheffield Hallam University. Booking only, ages 5+. Science and engineering activities for families.

Orienteering at Norfolk Heritage Park for Outdoor city weekender, registration starts at 1pm.

Science shows at Eureka! Museum for British Science Week, included one entry price. Also on Sunday.


Kids meditation workshop in Sheffield Winter Garden, ages 5+.

Unique crafts fair at Elsecar Heritage Centre, 10-4pm.

11-4pm, 1940’s cottage open day at Sheffield Manor Lodge.

Family science day at National Coal Mining Museum, free, 11-4pm.

Musical Sculptures, free creative music workshop at The Hepworth Wakefield, slots can be booked via reception.
